Cycloknit

Cycloknit blurs the lines between soft shell and technical fleece, combining insulation, wind resistance and comfort for demanding use in cold weather. This patented fleece has been developed by one of our Taiwanese partners and its key attribute, beyond its warmth and low weight is its densely knitted outer face, akin to a ‘hard face’ that provides wind, water and abrasion resistance. It pushes the limits of what a midlayer is capable of, and whilst it doesn’t quite reach the wind resistance of a double-weave soft shell fabric, it does provide a valuable middle ground, shedding snow etc. when moving quickly through mixed terrain.
