      Where does experience get you?

For more than 60 years, Mountain Equipment has developed clothing and equipment trusted on the world’s toughest routes and in the harshest conditions. In the mountains, experience is earned day by day; it’s the same with our kit. Every season, every expedition, and every detail contribute to what we know and what we craft. That experience is stitched into every product, so you can depend on it whether you’ve spent decades in the mountains or are just starting out.

Where does experience get you? To gear that is Built Better.

What you can expect this season

Refined through decades of climbing, mountaineering, and hard-earned mountain experience, our Autumn/Winter 2025 collection brings together products with improved fit, enhanced comfort, and absolute reliability when it matters most. From cutting-edge shell technology to a completely reworked glove range, every product reflects our commitment to performance, responsibility, and real-world mountain use.

    New GORE-TEX PRO ePE

Purpose-built for critical protection in the most severe conditions, our shell jackets are trusted on serious objectives across the globe. For AW25, we’ve updated key styles with the new GORE-TEX PRO ePE membrane. Lighter, more durable, and PFAS-free, combined with a refined fit and climbing-specific features, our shells continue to be Built Better.

    We’re PFAS-free

For Autumn/Winter 2025, our entire range is now PFAS-free in production, including all trims, membranes, and components. We’ve addressed the full group of PFAS across materials and finished products as part of our chemical management strategy. This is a major step in our ongoing responsibility efforts to reduce the environmental and human impact of our gear.

50 years since Everest the Hard Way

In 1975, the British Everest Expedition broke new ground to the summit, climbing the vast South West Face. It was the first time any of Everest’s faces had been climbed, a defining moment in mountaineering history and a milestone for Mountain Equipment.

This season marks 50 years since Everest the Hard Way. We’ll be celebrating the legacy of that climb and the Mountain Equipment gear that made it possible.

    We’ve revamped our Glove range

We’ve completely reworked our glove range to offer unparalleled precision, protection, and fit. Designed and built with obsessive attention to detail, our gloves and mitts use the finest materials and construction techniques to help you stay warm, dry and holding on when it matters most.

    Direkt Glove

Defining mountain insulation for over 60 years

With decades spent out in the cold, we’ve continually refined our down and synthetic insulation, each piece optimised for freezing conditions. This season, we’ve updated some of our key insulated styles and introduced some new ones. The Tromso is a reassuringly warm down jacket for deep winter, and the Fractal is a versatile synthetic piece that works as a lightweight outer or warm mid-layer.

    • Where does experience get you?

This season celebrates experience in the mountains, built incrementally through each day, each route, our summits and our failures.
