    It excels as an outer layer on blue sky days, whether ski touring in the Alps or winter mountaineering on a rare, perfect Scottish forecast. Then, when it’s time to battle all the elements, it’s a super warm mid-layer that thrives in freezing and damp conditions under a shell.

    60g/m2 Aerius™ synthetic insulation uses a combination of high-resilience hollow fibre and fine-denier fibre to create a high-volume, low-weight, and luxuriously soft fill. We tested a huge number of comparable synthetic fills, and this was the one that best combined all of the performance characteristics that are essential in a jacket like the Intra.

    The Helium 20D outer fabric is wind-resistant, light, and extremely breathable, making it ideal to combine with Aerius fill. An insulated hood adds necessary extra protection, and a YKK® Vislon zip is easy to use with frozen fingers.
