The Intra Light has already become the jacket we take everywhere throughout the year. It often goes on at the start of the day when we’re looking for warmth, breathability, and wind protection, and stays on for the recovery in the evening, where its comfort and softness make it hard to take off.
We wear it as an outer layer for ski-touring, alpine climbing, or hiking in good weather and then layer it under a shell for ice and mixed climbing in the worst conditions or those rare powder days.
This versatility comes from the 40g/m2 Aerius™ synthetic insulation, which uses a combination of high-resilience hollow fibre and fine-denier fibre to create a high-volume, low-weight, and luxuriously soft fill. We tested a huge number of comparable synthetic fills, and this was the one that best combined all of the performance characteristics that we look for in a jacket like the Intra Light.
The Helium 20D outer fabric is wind-resistant, light, and extremely durable, making it ideal to combine with Aerius fill. An insulated hood adds necessary extra protection, and a chest pocket keeps essentials close at hand.
