    Tupilak 50-75

Originally developed based on a detailed specification from 5 time Piolet d’Or winner Paul Ramsden, the Tupilak 50–75 is the largest in the Tupilak series. With excellent load stability, even when overfilled on the approach to a big face, it retains the weather resistance and durability of the rest of the Tupilak range. Fully strippable for summit pushes, it’s the ultimate choice for expedition use on the most technical objectives.

Like all our Tupilak packs, the Tupilak 50–75 uses custom-developed high tenacity PACT™ 300 and 100 R² fabrics throughout. These are lightweight but extremely robust and weather-resistant fabrics, easily repelling snow and withstanding challenging mountain conditions. An integrated cowl-lid closure with custom-developed Grappler™ buckle further seals out the weather and is easy to use in poor conditions.

A streamlined hourglass shape facilitates packing and offers a more stable carry for both hiking and climbing, while an EVA back panel provides support and improves comfort. Similarly, high-density EVA foam shoulder straps are low profile to facilitate mobility when climbing, but still offer excellent carrying performance on long walk-ins. Side compression straps with lightweight aluminium buckles improve load stability and can accommodate items such as sleeping mats or even skis. Likewise, aluminium ice axe toggles and bungee cord system offer greater carrying potential. To shed weight for hard ascents or summit pushes, the back panel, hip fins, compression straps, bungee and ice tool toggles can all be stripped if not required.
