Gore-Tex
The GORE-TEX 3-layer membrane at the heart of our technologies contains pores smaller than a water droplet, but larger than a water vapor molecule. So rain and snow can’t get in, but sweat can get out. Products made with GORE-TEX 3-layer fabric offer added durability without extra bulk.

Gore-Tex Paclite®
Garments with GORE-TEX PACLITE® product technology use a laminate construction in which a special GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to an outer shell material. This results in an extremely lightweight, packable garment that you can take anywhere. On the inside the membrane is protected by a durable thin film instead of a backer.
PFC Free

GORE-TEX are committed to continuously reducing the environmental footprint of their products. This includes a goal of eliminating PFCs of Environmental Concern (PFCEC) by 2023. As a step in this journey both the Saltoro* and Garwhal come with a durable water repellent treatment free of PFCs of Environmental Concern (PFCEC Free DWR).
